INTRO
Erin Majurey is a registered trauma counsellor working with ACC ISSC, Ministry of Education, and Victim Support. She specializes in working with people who have experienced trauma, drawing from evidenced based modalities and personal experience to help clients navigate the healing process. Erin is an LGBTQ+ ally and primarily uses Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Somatic Therapies, Attachment Theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Jungian Theory and Shadow Work, Inner Child and Parts Work.

EXPERIENCE
Erin has several years of experience helping clients with a wide range of concerns, including sexual harm, anxiety disorders, relationship issues, gender and sexual identity issues, grief and loss, and neurodivergence. She has worked with adults, children, and adolescents in both private and group settings within secular and kaupapa Māori health services, and crisis sexual violence spaces ie agency and forensic settings.
